ToolGrid includes AI-assisted features that can help users brainstorm, rewrite, summarize, translate, generate ideas, prepare drafts, and complete other creative or productivity tasks. This page explains how we expect those features to be used.
AI Is An Assistant, Not A Final Authority
AI systems are useful because they can produce a helpful first draft quickly. They can also make mistakes. A response may be incomplete, factually wrong, overly generic, or based on an assumption that does not apply to your situation.
For that reason, ToolGrid treats AI output as a starting point. You should review important results before publishing them, sending them to another person, using them in a business process, or making a decision based on them.
Check Facts And Sources
If an AI response contains dates, statistics, quotations, legal claims, medical information, financial information, product specifications, or other factual assertions, verify the important parts using reliable sources. A polished response is not proof that the underlying information is correct.
Respect Copyright And Other Rights
Do not use AI features to knowingly reproduce protected material in a way that infringes another person’s rights. When generating content for publication, review it for copied phrases, trademarks, confidential information, and other rights issues. You are responsible for deciding whether a final result is suitable for your intended use.
Protect Confidential Information
Do not enter passwords, private API keys, confidential business documents, financial account credentials, or sensitive personal information into an AI tool unless you have a clear reason and authorization to do so. Prompts may need to be processed by an AI provider in order to generate a response.
Human Review Matters
For business, education, employment, publishing, finance, health, legal matters, or any other situation where an incorrect answer could cause meaningful harm, a qualified person should review the output. ToolGrid does not replace professional judgment.
Conversation History
Where conversation history is enabled, ToolGrid may save conversations so they can be reopened from the built-in history drawer. Users should treat saved history as a convenience feature and should not use it as a secure vault for confidential material.
Responsible Use
Do not use ToolGrid’s AI features to facilitate fraud, harassment, malicious software, unauthorized access, impersonation, or other harmful or unlawful activity. We may restrict or modify features when necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
AI Provider Changes
The AI systems behind ToolGrid can change as the platform is maintained. A response may be generated by the site’s configured primary provider or, when supported, a fallback provider. Different providers can produce different results, so output quality and behavior can vary over time.
Our Goal
We want AI on ToolGrid to feel practical rather than mysterious: useful for getting started, useful for exploring ideas, and useful for repetitive work, while keeping the user responsible for the final result.
